Water pipes bursting can cause a major disaster

This flooded home was a result of a pipe that burst in the upper level, resulting in a water mess throughout the entire home.  The before picture is the outside of the home at the walkout of the basement where the water flooded down freezing on the outside.  The after photo is our dryers placed after demolition on the inside of the walkout.

The homeowner was not home at the time, if you were do you know where your emergency turn off valves are? 

Our SERVPRO of Hayward was able to assist this customer when the disaster became too large.  Our highly trained and certified team came in and was able to mitigate by setting the proper equipment to make sure that the drying out process was done correctly, they also helped with contents cleaning, along with demolition and reconstruction.  Our SERVPRO of Hayward can also assist you in finding all your main shutoffs to maybe help in a situation like this from becoming too large.
